Privacy policy

This is an English translation of the German privacy policy (Datenschutzerklärung). In case of doubt, the German version is legally binding.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Bettina Höld
Sole proprietor
Drosselweg 10 A
89269 Vöhringen
Germany

Phone: +49 151 21605146
Email: hoeld.bettina@gmail.com

2. General information

Protecting your personal data is important to me. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally.

I only process personal data where this is necessary to operate this website, to handle your enquiry, to prepare or perform a contract, or because of a legal obligation.

This website is deliberately designed to use as little data as possible: it uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising services and no embedded third-party content.

3. Hosting by STRATO

This website is hosted by the following provider:

STRATO GmbH
Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7
10249 Berlin
Germany

According to STRATO, its servers are located exclusively in data centres in Germany.

When you visit this website, the web server automatically processes in particular the following technical data (server log files):

  • IP address
  • date and time of access
  • pages and files accessed
  • amount of data transferred and status of the request
  • browser used
  • operating system
  • previously visited website (referrer URL)

This processing serves to provide the website technically, to ensure its security, to detect errors and to defend against misuse and attacks.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and functional operation of my website.

According to STRATO, IP addresses are stored for a maximum of seven days to detect and defend against attacks and are then anonymised.

STRATO processes the data as a processor exclusively on my instructions. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser’s address bar starting with “https://” and showing a padlock symbol. This means that the data you transmit to this website cannot be read by third parties.

5. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set any cookies and does not access information on your device that is not strictly necessary for its operation. No analytics, statistics or marketing services are used. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

The fonts used on this website are loaded directly from my web server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other third parties.

6. Contact form

You can get in touch with me via the contact form on this website. In particular, the following information is collected:

  • topic (selection)
  • first name – required
  • last name – optional
  • email address – required
  • content of your message – required

When you submit the form, your information is transmitted in encrypted form to the web server at STRATO and forwarded from there to me by email. The information is not stored on the website itself. To protect against spam, the form contains a hidden field and checks the time of submission; no further personal data is collected in the process.

The information is used to handle your enquiry and to get in touch with you. I need the required fields in order to answer your enquiry; without them, contact via the form is not possible. Section 7 applies to the legal bases, further processing and storage period.

7. Contact by email or phone

If you contact me by email, via the contact form or by phone, I process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry.

This may include in particular:

  • name
  • email address
  • phone number
  • content of your enquiry
  • other information provided voluntarily

If your enquiry relates to a possible collaboration, mentoring or another contractual service, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract. For other enquiries, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in answering your message.

For my email address, I use the Gmail service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Emails to me are therefore stored on Google’s servers. A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which there is an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

The data is deleted as soon as the matter has been fully resolved and there are no legal or contractual reasons for further storage.

8. Online appointment booking via Google Calendar

On the contact page, you can book an introductory call directly via a link. The booking page is provided via the appointment scheduling feature of Google Calendar. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

As long as you do not click the link, no data is transmitted to Google. Only when you open the booking page and book an appointment is the following data processed in particular:

  • name
  • email address
  • selected appointment
  • any further information you provide voluntarily
  • technical data when the booking page is accessed, for example the IP address

The booked appointment is automatically entered in my Google Calendar, and you receive a confirmation by email. I use the data to prepare and hold the conversation.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as the booking serves to prepare a possible collaboration. For other matters, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in simple and reliable appointment scheduling.

A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which there is an adequacy decision of the European Commission. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

The appointment data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed to hold the conversation and for a possible further collaboration, and there are no statutory retention obligations.

9. Links to external websites

This website contains simple links to external offers, in particular to my profiles on Facebook and Instagram, to an Instagram post about SOULBDY and to my online shop at RINGANA.

No social media plugins, feeds or embedded content are used.

As long as you do not click such a link, no data is transmitted from this website to the respective provider via the link.

When you click a link, you leave my website. The respective provider then processes data under its own responsibility. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

10. Recipients of personal data

Personal data is only passed on if this:

  • is necessary for the technical provision of the website,
  • is necessary to handle your enquiry,
  • serves the performance of a contract,
  • is required by law, or
  • is based on your consent.

STRATO (hosting of the website) and Google (Gmail email service and appointment booking via Google Calendar) are used as technical service providers. STRATO processes the data as a processor (see section 3). For Gmail and Google Calendar, Google’s terms of use and privacy policy also apply.

11. Storage period

I only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose.

Longer storage may take place if:

  • there are statutory retention obligations,
  • the data is needed to perform a contract,
  • possible legal claims have not yet become time-barred, or
  • you have consented to longer storage.

Once the respective purpose no longer applies and statutory periods have expired, the data is deleted or anonymised.

12. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have in particular the following rights:

  • right of access to your stored data
  • right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • right to erasure
  • right to restriction of processing
  • right to data portability
  • right to object to certain processing
  • right to withdraw consent given

Withdrawing consent takes effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing up to the time of withdrawal remains unaffected.

Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

To exercise your rights, you can contact the following email address:

hoeld.bettina@gmail.com

The rights of data subjects arise in particular from Art. 15 to 21 GDPR.

13. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.

The supervisory authority responsible for my place of business is:

Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA)
Promenade 18
91522 Ansbach
Germany

You can also contact the data protection supervisory authority of your place of residence.

14. Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you takes place on this website.

15. Currency of this privacy policy

This privacy policy is current as of:

October 2026

I reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if the services used, the website’s functions or the legal requirements change.
